Emerald Cities Collaborative E-Contractor Academy is a FREE 7-week workshop series focused on building the capacity of small, disadvantaged, and local construction contractors to successfully do business in climate-critical fields such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, and building electrification. Participants will receive business support guidance and connect to project opportunities in the Bay Area.
This is an in-person event series (no virtual attendance).

$1,500 Grant for Business Support
After completion of the E-Contractor Academy, ECC will award a $1,500 grant to participants to utilize for their business needs*. Participants can receive one-on-one assistance in areas such as:
- Book-keeping
- Marketing
- Estimating
- Certifications
*In order to receive a full grant, participants must attend all sessions.
Who Should Attend?
Priority will be given to firms with the following characteristics:
- Licensed contractors in Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC trades
- Disadvantaged-owned Business Enterprises (certification not required)
- Minority-owned
- Woman-owned
- Veteran-owned
- Business Revenue from $250K - $1M
- Project Scopes from $100K to $1M
- Owners seeking to grow their business!
